Featured artist of the month: LETLIVE.
Letlive. is an American hardcore band, hailing from Los Angeles, California, that has been getting some much deserved attention after being taken out on Underoath’s farewell tour. If you’ve never seen them live, make it a priority, because you most definitely won’t regret it. Their live show is insane. You can see how passionate they are about their music. It helps that Jason Butler is one crazy dude. In this scene, bands come and go. They have their 15 minutes of fame, but I think Letlive. is going to make a mark on the hardcore scene. They aren’t your average band. Their last album, Fake History, released in 2010 (Again in 2011 on Epitaph) is one hell of an album. I highly recommend purchasing it.
If you’re hesitant about buying it, listen to their single “Muther” and see for yourself.
They’re not the first thing your mind goes to when you think “hardcore music” but that’s why they’re making their mark on the genre and changing up the game.
